Second chance for snails.

I've decided I'm going to do a little less travel posting with in depth detail, and concentrate a little more on posting about the food related things we've been doing. It's either one or the other, because of time and internet restrictions. So from here in, food will be primary, and little details and quirks or travel will be passing mentions if they are truly something of note. Keep in mind this doesn't mean I won't tell you where I am, I just won't tell you about small inconsequential things like maybe the weather or how much I liked the drive. I think this will be a good way to keep my writing shorter and more lively, thus generating more for you to salivate over. But here I am, babbling again, enjoy the new format and let me know what you think.
As tribute to the spirit of this whole new approach,I present sea snails:round 2!
Whelks are delicious, ham is delicious. Why seperate the two when they could be united in one tasty duet of battered and fried sumptuousness? We decided to go light as a companion to all this fried business, so we cooked down some peaches and onions and added them to a little salad on the side. Fried sea snails and pork with peach and onion salad. Delight to the mouth, but we didn't take the proper pictures.
